(Please note that all prices are estimates and Mike Scott, A.K.A. SaddleGuy
reserves the right to change prices.)
*Stable Call/Travel Time:
Price to be determined for clinics and locations further than 1 hour from Camden SC.
I try to keep travel fees to a minimum but please understand the necessity of this with time and gas prices!
If you can trailer to Camden I try to extend a discounted rate. This of course depends on how long the appointment takes.
Remember I am also a human, canine and equine therapist (with 21 years experience) available for massage sessions and rehab consultations:

PROCEDURE FOR FITTING A SADDLE:
NO DOGS ALLOWED
WHEN TRAILERING IN!
Be prepared to ride!
1...Have horse ready and clean
2...History (client, horse and saddle)
3...Symmetry and palpation evaluation
4...Movement evaluation
5...Tracings/Templates
6...Check integrity of saddle(s)
7...Static evaluation........Check saddle with horse still and square (See Saddlefit Demystified Article).
8...Eval. with rider up
9...Adjust flocking or discuss options
10..Check rider up again
Note: No matter how short the session, a minimum fee of $85 is assessed to cover the allotted appointment time
Fitting of each saddle, tracings, suggestions:
$85.00 (if purchasing saddles, this fee includes looking at a few. $85.00 per hour after initial hour).
Realize that nothing can be done for a foam saddle that doesn't fit properly except a possible conversion
or suggestions of pads – full fee still applies.
On Site Flocking:
$85.00
This fee applies for flocking to saddle. In the event that a saddle is flocked to fit the horse without the rider
present to participate in fitting and movement evaluation portion of the fitting,
Saddleguy assumes no responsibility in the event that the saddle is not fit properly.
It is imperative that the horse and rider be observed in motion to insure the
best fit.
Combination...Fitting, tracings, flocking and suggestions:
$150.00 if session is a trailer in or local to Camden.
See previous two explanations and combine.
Repair prices do not include shipping....usually $30.00
Complete Reflock:
$325.00
Expect to hear that your saddle may need this if wool is old, hard, compacted or very uneven etc.
Old wool out, new wool in.
Done off premises.
This price includes reflock only...initial eval and follow up fitting to horse are additional.
Conversions:
$325.00
Foam to Wool. Done off premises.
Additional follow-up fitting

Billets:
1 – $25.00
2 – $50.00

Add $55.00 if saddle needs to be unstitched and reassembled.
